Prince George is joining communities, cities, and regions around British Columbia and Canada to recognize National Tourism Week—May 27 to June 2. Tourism Prince George has partnered with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce to host two tourism events in celebration of National Tourism Week.
The two events are:
Tourism Breakfast Speaker Series –“Why Tourism matters”
Thursday May 24 8-9:30am Sandman Signature Hotel
Tourism Prince George will host keynote speaker, Walt Judas, CEO of TIABC. Topics covered during the event include; How tourism has become the key driver of the provincial economy; The implications of the 2018 provincial budget and government regulations on the industry; The six critical issues on TIABC’s radar that need to be addressed in order to maintain the momentum; How individual businesses and residents can contribute to or benefit from tourism; The future of tourism in British Columbia.

Business after 3 p.m. Open House
Friday June 1, 3-5 p.m. Tourism Prince George Visitor Centre
This event is hosted in partnership with the PG Chamber of Commerce and will include some refreshments, networking opportunities, and a chance to connect with Tourism Prince George.
