Prince George RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in a hit and run involving a cyclist Saturday morning on University Way near UNBC.
The cyclist remains in hospital and the driver of the vehicle that hit him has not been located after leaving the scene of the collision on University Way near UNBC at about 10 a.m.
“We are asking to speak with anyone who has any information related to the vehicle – identified by witnesses as a black 2016 to 2018 GMC Sierra half-ton pickup truck – to call the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or call their local CrimeStoppers,” said Staff Sergeant Steve McLeod. “If you were involved in this collision, we ask that you do the right thing and come forward and speak with our investigators”.
