On Monday, April 16, both Wendy’s locations in Prince George will be supporting the Climb for Cancer with a special meal deal.
One dollar from the sale of any meal combo will go towards the Climb for Cancer. Patrons can also make a donation of their choice to the cause.
“I would like to thank Wendy’s of Prince George for their support in the effort to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Kordyban Lodge,” said Climb for Cancer Committee Chair David Duck. “Every step counts.”
The third annual Climb for Cancer is set for Saturday April 21 from noon until 4 p.m. Participants will be climbing the cutbanks in a fundraising event that will feature music, food and fun. All proceeds from the Climb will go to support Kordyban Lodge, a home away from home for those receiving treatment for cancer.
The Combo for the Climb event will be in effect all day on Monday, April 16.
