Prince George court report March 12-15


In Prince George Provincial Court March 12, 2018:

Matthew R.S. Lozon was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to comply with a probation order. He was also sentenced to 27 days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for theft.

Nicholas R. Power was ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order.

Robert R. Prettie was sentenced to two days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order.

In Prince George Provincial Court March 13, 2018:

Corina L. Beauchamp was put on probation for 18 months and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for for failing to comply with a probation order. Beauchamp was given a similar sentence for theft and was sentenced to 10 days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failure to comply with condition of undertaking or recognizance.

Matthew R.W. White was sentenced to 30 days in jail and put on probation for one year for being unlawfully at large. White was sentenced to 22 days in jail and put on probation for a year for breaking and entering and committing an indictable offence therein.

Tyler J. Wood was sentenced to two years in jail, ordered to pay a $200 victim surcharge, is prohibited from owning a firearm for two years, and must submit a DNA sample for possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.

Darwin R. Ewins was given a 90-day conditional sentence, put on probation for one years, and is prohibited from owning a firearm for five years for assault.

In Prince George Provincial Court March 14:

Rene J. Batoche was put on probation for one year and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for mischief, resisting a peace officer, and possession of break-in instruments.

Chad T. Quaw was put on probation for one year and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order. Quaw was also sentenced to 45 days in jail, pul on probation for a year and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for theft.

Jason M. R. Farquhar was sentenced to 10 days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for possession of a break-in instrument.

In Prince George Provincial Court March 15, 2018:

Adam J.R. Gibson was sentenced to four days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order.

Justin L. Stapley was sentenced to 14 days in jail, fined $500, is prohibited from driving for one year, and was ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited.

Stephen P. Smith was sentenced to one day in jail, fined $500, ordered to pay a $75 victim surcharge, and is prohibited from driving for two years for driving while prohibited.

Norman E. Blaney was sentenced to 14 days in jail, ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge, and was put on probation for one year for theft.

Joshua Bowser was sentenced to 24 days in jail and ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge for failing to comply with a probation order.

Richard A. McGregor was fined $500, ordered to pay a $75 victim surcharge, and is prohibited from driving for one year for driving while prohibited.
