Smithers RCMP are investigating social media threats against students and teachers in that community.
RCMP were alerted to the social media post shortly before noon Thursday. From the post it was evident that students and teachers
were the subject of the threats, according to the RCMP.
Although no specific person or school was noted, the police took action to ensure the safety of the everyone in the community and as a result one person has been arrested.
