Earlier today, members of emergency services agencies in Prince George gathered to present Mayor Lynn Hall with a toque as part of the Honour House Toque Challenge.

The Honour House is a “home away from home” for emergency responders, whether active or retired, who require accommodations in Vancouver while receiving medical care in the area.  The house is for members as well as their families.

The aim of the Honour House Toque Challenge is to bring awareness to this free service so that many more emergency service providers and their families are able to use the house during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
