WestJet plane makes emergency landing in Prince George



A WestJet flight from Fort St. John to Vancouver diverted to Prince George Airport this morning making an emergency landing at about 7 a.m.

A fire detection warning light went off, causing the crew to divert to Prince George. Local emergency services were put on standby, according to a tweet posted by the Prince George Airport. The plane landed without incident and the airline is currently accommodating passengers. There was no fire.
