Snowfall warning issued for central interior

Dust off your shovel and gas up the snowblower ... Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the area.

We can expect 15 to 20 centimetres of the fluffy stuff today.

A Pacific frontal system will make its way through the B.C. interior Sunday resulting in widespread snow. Generally near 15 cm is expected however locally higher amounts are possible.

The snow will begin this morning and will ease this evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ec.tempetepacifique-pacificstorm.ec@canada.ca or tweet reports using #BCStorm.
