Police are asking the public’s help to identify the suspects involved in a residential robbery last summer.
At approximately 10 a.m. on August 12, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a residential robbery that occurred on Bertschi Road, northeast of Prince George.
A resident returned to his home off Shelley Road to find an unknown vehicle in his driveway. He questioned the driver who provided a lame excuse for being on the property. The resident then noticed another man looking out a window from inside his home. The resident confronted the suspect in the residence and was subsequently bear sprayed. The suspects fled, one in the vehicle and the other on foot.
A police dog service team was deployed and tracked the suspect along Bertschi Road to a wooded area where several stolen items were located. Unfortunately, the suspect was not located.
Investigators have obtained a sketch of the suspect from the house and are releasing it to the public in the hopes of identifying the man.
The vehicle is described as:
- Late model Jeep
- Purple
- With a chrome grill
No description of either suspect.
