Slopes for Hope set for March 10 at Powder King

Skiers and snowboarders from Prince George and neighbouring communities will be hitting the slopes Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Powder King to raise funds to fight cancer as part of the annual Slopes for Hope.

All funds raised help the Canadian Cancer Society fund cancer research, cancer prevention initiatives and support programs for people living with cancer. The event is sponsored by Powder King Mountain Resort and Northland Nissan.

Slopes for Hope Powder King brings winter enthusiasts together by challenging them to ski the height of Mount Everest. Mount Everest is 29,029 feet, or 13 full runs at Powder King.

Slopes for Hope Powder King is an annual fundraiser that has raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society. In the last 4 years, Slopes for Hope has raised almost $60,000 and had more than 200 participants come enjoy a great day on the slopes.
