One in custody following armed robbery

 

Police have one person in custody and are seeking two more following an armed robbery early this morning.

At approximately 12:40 a.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a gas station on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Tabor Boulevard in Prince George.

Police immediately attended the area.  One 18-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene, however two other male suspects have not yet been located.  It is believed that one of the suspects was in possession of a handgun.  The two remaining suspects fled with cigarettes, cash and lottery tickets.

The two suspects that fled are described as:

  • Male
  • Approximately 30 years old, although they were both wearing masks
  • One wearing a dark blue or black hoody and the other wearing a yellow hoody
