Louka picked a great time to have the best weekend of her Canada West career, and the best performance of any female athlete in the conference.
The fourth-year forward out of Greece had a monster performance to open a two-game set with the WolfPack, dropping 31 points and hauling in 14 rebounds. She was a force at both ends of the floor, altering TRU shots, while dominating in the paint offensively.
The next night, with the TWolves missing three regulars, Louka played 38 minutes, managing 23 points and 15 boards, despite TRU’s best efforts to shut her down.
Over the weekend, she averaged 30.5 points and 14.5 rebounds, and had a total of five minutes rest on the bench. Louka sits sixth in the conference in scoring, and tops in rebounding, while also registering the second-most minutes per game in Canada West.
