Fire damages Oak Street apartment building

 

An early morning fire in a two-storey apartment building in the 2500-block of Oak Street caused about $500,000 damage to the building, according to the Prince George fire department.

Eleven residents were evacuated and are now be assisted by Victim Services.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the blaze and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
