We’re going to get snow and then rain, so the roads will be very treacherous over the next few days.

Environment Canada is has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George this afternoon with about 10 centimetres of the fluffy stuff falling. A frontal system approaching the B.C. interior will spread 10 to 15 cm of snow to parts of the central and northern interior by Wednesday morning.

Snow will begin falling this afternoon and intensify in the evening. The snow will ease Wednesday morning as the frontal system moves to the northeast.

Then it’s going to get sloppy as temperatures are expected go well above freezing over the next few days along with rain showers. Highs on Thursday and Friday are forecast to hit 6 degrees Celsius.
