
Elizabeth May MP, Leader of the Green Party of Canada, will be in Prince George on Friday October 13.
She will speak at two events. First she will be at UNBC in the afternoon, organized by Inspiring Women Among Us and in the evening she will be at Art Space, organized by the Green Party of Canada.
The afternoon talk is titled, Where does the Paris Agreement get us? Are we still in a climate emergency? and takes place 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the Canfor Theatre at UNBC. Open to everyone.

The evening event is at Art Space 7:30-9 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. The title for the evening talk is, What it is like to be a Lone Green Woman in Canadian Federal Politics. Evening refreshments are provided by Bassam Kora from Syria. There will also be smoothies, blended with bicycle power, provided by Students for a Green University.
