Cram-a-Cruiser helps the hungry this Thanksgiving

The Prince George RCMP Detachment has partnered with the Real Canadian Superstore to help feed the hungry this Thanksgiving.

On Saturday , local police officers, volunteers, and detachment staff donated their time at the Real Canadian Superstore and were asking the public’s help to “Cram-a-Cruiser” (police car) with non-perishable food items.

During the four-hour period, the public donated enough food to fill at least 10 police cars.  In addition, some members of the public donated cash or gift cards totalling over $650.  All donations have been provided to the Prince George Salvation Army as they help those in need this Thanksgiving.
