The Prince George Airport Authority will be conducting live fire training Friday morning at the airport.
Locals are reminded these fires pose no threat to the public or surrounding areas. These fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification. Training is scheduled to start Friday, September 29 from 7-10 a.m.
These fires may produce dark smoke in and around the airport area which has, in the past, caused concern from local residents.
