Man injured in shooting on Oak Street

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible for a shooting that occurred on Oak Street Sunday night.

A 43-year-old man is in hospital as a result of the shooting, which happened at about 11:25 p.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of Oak Street.

The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has been called in to assist with the investigation.

The investigation is in the early stages and the motive for the incident is not known at this time. It does not appear that the suspect(s) and victim knew each other.
