Bring your friends, family, co-workers, teammates and pets to the 37th annual Prince George Terry Fox Run on Sunday, September 17.
The community of Prince George is invited to run, walk, or wheel the five-kilometre route around Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park on Sunday, September 17. Participating in this annual event helps continue to help support a wonderful cause and the on-going efforts to find a cure for cancer by supporting The Terry Fox Foundation.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the course officially opens from 10 a.m. until noon.
New this year: Mandy Paavola will be providing children with face-painting. Hub City Volkswagen will be donating $2 to The Terry Fox Foundation for every face Mandy paints. In addition, local resident, Mary Cartwright, has once again baked 1,000 of her famous chocolate chip cookies to help raise money for the event.
DJ Services will be provided by PG Entertainment Group and there will be snacks and refreshments available for everyone to enjoy, donated by Save-On-Foods. In addition, every tenth person to cross the finish line this Sunday will received a $10 gift card to Mr. Mikes Prince George.
