SportPG Speaker Series returns

The SportPG Speaker Series is back for 2017. These informal training and networking events are a great opportunity to learn about a topic at the heart of sport hosting from local experts, and network with fellow sport stakeholders.

The third instalment will take place on Wednesday September 13 with the topic: The Partners – Event Support

Planning an event? You’re not alone! There’s a lot more support out there than you think. Learn how the city, Volunteer PG, and Tourism PG can help. Come armed with your questions, ideas of how these organizations can provide more/better support, and your stories of successful and unsuccessful collaboration.

The sport speaker series will continue to be offered for free in the Kin 1 Lounge on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with a few light snacks. The remaining topics include:

• The Partners: Event Support, September 13

• The End: Post-Event Planning, November 15
