Pedestrian struck by train in Terrace dies

A 35-year-old man is dead after being struck by a train on Wednesday night in Terrace.

On Sept. 6 around 10 p.m., Terrace RCMP received a report from CN Police that a train struck a person near Aspley Street and Greig Avenue. The man suffered fatal injuries.

Terrace RCMP is continuing to assist the BC Coroners Services with its investigation into the man’s death. No further information is being released at this time. Further media inquiries can be directed to the BC Coroners Services.
