Smoke from Cariboo fires darkens Prince George skies

The heavy smoke the Prince George area is experiencing is due to the wildfires in the Cariboo Fire Centre, according to the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George.

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is continuing to have no evacuation alerts or orders at this time in its region.

The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre has been busy with new evacuation orders last night so check out their site for the latest updates.
