Police close Fifth Avenue

Fifth Avenue, from Wainwright Street to Carney Street, is closed this morning due to a police operation.

Prince George RCMP with the assistance of the North District Emergency Response Team, closed off Fifth Avenue at 5:30 a.m.  This closure is necessary for the safety of the police and the public in that area.

Drivers, pedestrians and cyclists are urged to take an alternate route.
