One person is hospital after hit and run

Police are looking for the public’s help in locating the person or persons involved in a late night hit and run with a bicycle.

Just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday July 11, the Prince George RCMP received several reports of an incident involving a cyclist on Upland Street near the Highway 97 underpass.

Emergency Services including the RCMP, attended the scene and located a man suffering from serious injuries.  The man was transported to hospital for treatment.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist was called in to assist with the investigation.  It appears that the man was riding a bicycle and was involved in a collision with at least one vehicle.  The vehicle or vehicles did not remain at the scene.

Police are requesting the public’s help in locating the vehicle(s) and driver(s) involved in this collision.
