Earlier this month, the Prince George RCMP began an investigation into a report that a young boy had allegedly been sexually assaulted by a man.
Through investigation, officers have arrested 34-year-old Tanner James Dick of Prince George. Dick is facing charges of sexual interference (touching someone under the age of 16 with a sexual purpose) and sexual assault.
Investigators believe that other victims or witnesses are in the community and have not yet come forward. Parents are asked to speak to their children, especially those that may know Tanner Dick. Those with information are asked to come forward in order to help officers further the investigation.
Anyone else that may have information that could further this investigation, is also asked to come forward and speak to investigators.
Dick has been remanded in custody at least until his next court appearance scheduled for Wednesday July 12.
