Pride Week underway in Prince George

Mayor Lyn Hall proclaimed July 3 – 9, 2017 as Pride Week.

President of the Prince George Pride Society, Stacey Hewlett, shared this is the 20th year of Pride. Today, at City Hall, Mayor Hall and Councillors Frizzell, Krause, and Everitt raised the Pride flag with representatives from the Lheidli T’enneh and the Prince George Pride Society.

To celebrate 20 years, the Prince George Pride Society is planning to host the biggest community pride celebration to date in Prince George. On this Saturday, July 8, the Pride Day festival and parade will include a food pavilion, local vendors, live music, entertainment, and activities for all ages.
