A man who apparently pointed a firearm at three people in Smithers Saturday has been arrested.
Smithers responded the complaint at 2:30 a.m. and responded to an alley behind a local business near Highway 16 in Smithers. Witnesses identified a 21-year-old Smithers suspect by name. He was located a short time later, arrested for numerous offences and held in police custody. He is scheduled to appear in Smithers Provincial Court on Tuesday July 4.
