Pine Centre Mall is closed this morning due to an attempted robbery.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Craig Douglass says a large four-door white flatdeck truck, with dual rear tires, smashed through one of the entrances of the mall. The driver of the truck then shot at one of the security guards at the mall, who was not injured. The driver escaped on foot and is still at large.
Douglass says the truck is likely stolen.
