About 5,700 Prince George homes and businesses are without power this morning.
Power went out shortly after 7 a.m. in three areas of the city: West of Highway 97, east of Foothills Boulevard, north of 22nd Avenue South of Tabor Boulevard; west of Ospika Boulevard, south of Nechako Road; west of Banzer Drive, east of Banzer Drive, south of Chief Lake Road, north of Cranbrook Hill Road.
The cause is under investigation. There is no estimate of when power will be restored to those areas.
