Canada West officially released the schedule for the 2017 Women’s soccer season, with the UNBC Timberwolves starting the season on the road against the UBC Okanagan Heat.
The TWolves will play four of their first six games on home soil, including matchups with the top three teams in the Pacific Division in the 2016 standings; Alberta, Trinity Western, and UFV will visit Prince George in an eight-day period in September.
UNBC will conclude the regular season schedule at home, welcoming UBC Okanagan to town on October 22.
The Timberwolves will look to improve on an 0-12-1 campaign that saw immense growth under first-year coach Neil Sedgwick.
Again this season, CW is set to offer an extensive soccer webcast package via Canada West TV – the conference’s official streaming platform. Over 150 conference soccer games were streamed in 2016, with that number scheduled to grow in the coming years.
A full list of package options will be available mid-August, when the conference unveils its new streaming platform, as part of the conference’s rebrand.
