The Prince George RCMP are warning the public of a man who is frequenting businesses and schools during operating hours without legitimate or lawful reasons.
In some cases the suspect is stealing purses or other items of value. He has been seen in business staff rooms and at least one high school and one elementary school in the city.
Police are concerned for the safety of the public and are asking businesses and staff from all schools to be on the lookout for this individual. If he is seen near or in a school, do not approach, call 9-1-1 immediately. A reminder to business owners, you have the right to refuse service to anyone.
The suspect is described:
- First Nations male
- Approximately 55 years old
- Approximately 173 cm (5’8″)
- Approximately 68 kg (150 lbs)
- Brown eyes
- Black hair with a receding hairline
