One man is dead following a single-vehicle accident on Ness Lake Road early Saturday morning.
RCMP say the accident occurred at about 2:40 a.m. on Ness Lake Road near the intersection with Swan Road, just outside Prince George city limits.
Emergency services including the RCMP attended the scene. A single vehicle was located off the roadway and a man was located nearby. First responders administered first aid, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service was contacted and attended the scene. A police dog service team also attended the scene to search the area for other possible casualties, however none were found.
A portion of the road had been closed to traffic while investigators reconstruct the scene in order to determine how the collision occurred.
Initial investigation indicates that alcohol was not a factor.
