Home invasion and robbery on Oak Street

Police are requesting help from the public to identify the person responsible for an early morning robbery yesterday.

On Wednesday June 7, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion and robbery with a firearm at a residence on the 2600 block of Oak Street in Prince George.

The suspect forced his way into the residence, pointed a handgun at the adult male resident who was investigating the noise, and demanded valuables.  The victim complied and was struck on the back of the head just before the suspect fled.  The injury is not believed to be serious and the two other adults in the house were uninjured.

The suspect is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • Approximately 183 cm (6′) tall
  • Wearing a black hoodie with a white Adidas writing, an orange bandana on his head, jeans and tan coloured work boots
