Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted about 50 runners who took part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Tuesday afternoon.
The 3.5 kilometre walk/run event wound its way through downtown Prince George and, along the way, raised funds and awareness for Special Olympic athletes in our province, and specifically in the Prince George area. The event is primarily made up of members, staff and family of various public safety agencies including the B.C. Sheriffs Service, Prince George Fire/Rescue and the Prince George Detachment of the RCMP.
