Police would like to speak to a man that reportedly chased two children through a local park this past weekend.
Just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Rainbow Park. Two 10-year-old girls reported that they were walking in the park when a man began to follow them. They began to run. The male followed suit until the children ran to a nearby group of people. The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m.
Investigators would like to identify and speak to this man. He is described as:
- 30 – 35 year old male
- 170 cm (5’7″)
- 64 kg (140 lbs)
- Blonde hair
- Blue eyes
- Wearing a grey hoody and white Adidas shoes
The Prince George RCMP would like to remind the adult public that it is not appropriate to approach school aged children not known to you.
