Natalie Fletcher is proud of the campaign she ran.
The NDP candidate in Prince George-Valemount was soundly defeated by incumbent Liberal Shirley Bond, who captured her fifth term Tuesday.
“I had zero expectations going in, and I’ve learned a lot about people and a lot about myself,” she said as she made her way the Liberal camp to congratulate Bond.
Fletcher was hit with a bad cold in the middle of the campaign, which didn’t help her during at least one of the all-candidate forums.
