Police have four suspects in custody and the investigation is continuing, following a report of a stolen vehicle Monday afternoon.
Just after 3 p.m. on Monday April 24, the Prince George RCMP received a report of an occupied stolen vehicle parked near First Avenue and Tabor Boulevard.
Police officers including a police dog service team attended the area. The suspects fled the vehicle on foot into a nearby park and were tracked to the McIntyre Crescent area. All four occupants were arrested and taken into custody without incident a short time later.
The vehicle, a 1997 Ford Explorer, was reported stolen at approximately 6:30 a.m. the same day. It had been stolen from a residence on Arnett Avenue sometime overnight.
A 22 year old man, 23 year old man, 41 year old woman and 17 year old boy were held in custody overnight and may be facing charges. The investigation is continuing.
