Road work set along Highway 16

A number of highway resurfacing projects will be underway along Highway 16 this summer.

Resurfacing work will be done at these locations:

  • 22 kilometres of Highway 16 between Mapes Road and Hillcrest Way;
  • 20 kilometres of Highway 16 between Engen Road to Burrard Avenue;
  • 15 kilometres on Keefe’s Landing Road on the south side of Francois Lake; and
  • 7.5 kilometres on Highway 27 between the junction with Highway 16, to Braeside Road.

In addition, crack-sealing will be done on Highway 16 from the Bulkley River to Pleasant Valley Overhead and from Burns Lake to the Fort Fraser CN Overhead. Work on all of these projects will be completed this summer.
