UPDATE – City crews have once again closed access to Boundary Road due to surface water flowing across the road.
The route is closed to vehicular traffic from approximately the roundabout at Boeing Road and Boundary Road nearly down to the intersection of Boundary and Highway 97.
Crews with Public Works are on site to deal with the excessive meltwater caused by recent high temperatures.
City crews have reopened Boundary Road after it was closed earlier today due to a mudslide that flowed across the road.
The road was closed from approximately the roundabout at Boeing Road and Boundary Road up to the intersection at Boundary and Highway 97.
Although the road is now open, it may have to be closed again if rising temperatures and melting snow and ice cause even more flowing surface water.
