A 16-year-old boy is recovering after he was attacked Friday morning.
Police have arrested a 29-year-old man in connection with the attack, which they say was unprovoked.
Police got a call about an assault in progress near Massey Drive and Griffiths Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away; however he failed to obey police commands and fled on foot. The suspect was caught and arrested in the parking lot of a nearby high school. The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of a broken nose and other non-life threatening injuries.
Moses Clifford Johnson has been charged with aggravated assault, and resisting or obstructing a peace officer
Johnson recently moved to Prince George from New Hazelton. He has been remanded in custody and will make his first appearance in court later today.
