Man stabs his roommate

Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Prince George last night.

Just before 7 p.m. on Monday the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of stabbing at a residence on the 2200 block of Spruce Street.

Indications are that two 24-year-old male roommates were having an argument when one pulled a knife and stabbed the other.  The victim attended the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries while the suspect fled the scene before police were called.

This was a targeted incident between two people known to each other.  The investigation is continuing.
