The City of Prince George has received, by last count, over 180 calls for service for issues relating to the recent unseasonably warm temperatures, melting snow and ice, and rainfall.
Crews from the utilities division are out in force today - as they were yesterday - attending to issues such as blocked culverts and ditches, flooded driveways, and frozen and blocked catch basins.
Yesterday, Boundary Road was closed due to flooding between Highways 16 and 97. It has now been re-opened.
As residents know, in the past week Prince George has experienced a deep freeze, a large snow event, record-breaking warm temperatures, and last night's rainfall.
