Orr not seeking re-election

McLeod Lake Indian Band Chief Derek Orr is leaving politics. He announced at the B.C. Natural Resources Forum in Prince George Wednesday that he will not be seeking re-election in June. Orr was first elected to the band council in 2002 and became chief in 2008. He said he will be moving in the private sector. Bill Phillips photo
