Teck BC Cup goes this weekend at Otway

The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club hosts the second 2017 Teck BC Cup at Otway Nordic Centre this weekend.

This competition is a major provincial competition, sanctioned by Cross Country Canada. Two hundred skiers are expected from locations throughout British Columbia.

Race schedule is as follows:

  • 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 3 – Official Training
  • 9 a.m. to approx. 10 a.m., Saturday, February 4 – PwC Free Technique Sprints Qualification Round (to determine seeding positions for the afternoon Heats)
  • Noon to approx. 4 p.m., Saturday, February 4 – PwC Technique Sprint Heats
  • 10 a.m. to approx. 1 p.m., Sunday, February 5 – Save-on Foods Free Technique, Mass Start
