A snowmobiler who went missing in the Torpy Mountain Range yesterday, has been found safe and sound.
The snowmobiler, who was last seen at about 4 p.m. Sunday, was located at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning. He is cold and tired, but otherwise in good condition.
Police would like to remind snowmobiling enthusiasts to take the necessary precautions including emergency supplies, before heading into the backcountry.
The RCMP would like to thank the members of the Prince George Search & Rescue Society for their assistance with the search. Without their dedication and expertise, the results of this search could have been much worse.
