The Nechako River ice jam is now impacting Wilkins Park at Miworth.
Residents have reported the Wilkins Park picnic area is flooding past the picnic tables. Also the the trail from the picnic area to the boat launch is flooded near the picnic area. The ice over the flooded part of the trail was not reliable and there is about six inches of water under the ice on the trail, according to a Facebook post from a local resident
