Bring some food, ride for free

City employee Dave Bradshaw, Mayor Lyn Hall, and Councillor Jillian Merrick drop off the proceeds of Food For Fare 2014 to Salvation Army Captain Neil Wilkinson just before Christmas that year.

The City of Prince George and BC Transit are getting into the holiday spirit with a food drive in support of the Salvation Army and free transit service on New Year’s Eve.

The annual ‘Food for Fare’ charitable program runs from December 13 – 15. BC Transit customers can ride the bus for free if they make a donation of non-perishable food to the Salvation Army onboard the bus.
