One person is dead following trailer fire in Valemount Tuesday.
Valemount RCMP, along with Fire Rescue were called out to the Hartman Trailer Park at about 10:05 p.m.
When police arrive at the scene, Fire Rescue was battling the blaze which had fully engulfed the home. There were three people home at the time of the fire and one child did not survive. The other two family members suffered second degree burns and have been transported to the burn unit in Vancouver for treatment of their injuries.
The Fire Department, Valemount RCMP and BC Coroners Service continue to investigate the fire, however the fire chief does not believe there is anything suspicious with this fire.
The BC Coroners Office will conduct the investigation. No names of the people involved will be released at this time.
