An evacuation alert has been issued by Peace River Regional District because of the potential danger to life and health for Mile 80 of the Alaska Highway area in Electoral Area B in response to fi
re #G80130: Geographic Area (see attached map), including all properties on the following roads:
• North West on the Alaska Highway from Beatton Airport Road to Aitken Creek Road
• North on Aitken Creek Road to where it crosses the Blueberry River
• East following the Blueberry River to where the Blueberry River crosses the Beatton Airport Road
• South along Beatton Airport Road to the Alaska Highway
An Evacuation Alert has been issued to prepare you to evacuate your premises or property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
