Morris named solicitor general

Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris has a new job.

Last week he was was sworn in as Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General.

“Mike Morris brings strong experience to the Executive Council as a 32-year veteran of the RCMP and former North District superintendent,” said Premier Christy Clark. “He will bring a singular focus to public safety as he builds on Suzanne Anton’s many accomplishments and an outstanding record of being tough on crime and strong on crime prevention.”

Anton will continue to serve British Columbians as Minister of Justice and Attorney General.
